After NEFC's U-19 team captured an Elite National Premier League (ENPL) title in early July, hopes were high that another trophy would return home to New England.
Those wishes fell just short, as three clubs from the region failed to advance from their respective groups at ENPL National Finals at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.
Valeo FC (U-15), NEFC (U-16) and GPS Massachusetts (U-17) each qualified for the final eight after advancing from the knockout round of ENPL Playoffs in Rockford, Ill. All three teams compete in the New England Premiership, while it should be noted that five of six finalists came from various Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) conferences.
