The second girls' Development Academy season is officially in the books for New England's three clubs, as teams have returned from the showcase and playoffs in Oceanside, Calif.
There's already one national champion crowned, as Midwest United FC beat San Diego Surf at the U-19 age group. Winners at the U-15 and U-17 age groups will soon emerge from the championships in Irvine, Calif., which are held July 8-11.
