Gatorade released its list of 2023-24 Girls Soccer Player of the Year award recipients for each state on Thursday.
New England’s six winners include three repeat winners, as well as commits to Division 1 programs South Carolina, Miami, Clemson, UMass Lowell and Le Moyne.
The Gatorade State Player of the Year award was established in 1985 to recognize the nation’s most outstanding high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.
Gatorade will also recognize a girls soccer player as the National Player of the Year later this month.
