After the dog days of summer, the 2018-19 Development Academy season is officially here.
Around New England, that included the Boston Bolts and Seacoast United U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams squaring off. New England Soccer Journal was on hand to photograph the day, and readers can view our gallery in its entirety by clicking here.
The event featured some high-profile talent, especially on the Bolts’ U-19 team. Striker and Michigan commit Christian Pulselli (Pembroke, Mass.), goalie and U.S. U-17 national team player Marzuq Puckerin (Cambridge, Mass.) and Holy Cross commit and midfielder Jack Ostrosky (Rutland, Mass.) are all standouts worth keeping an eye on.
Seacoast, meanwhile, finds itself in a bit of transition with director Ally Bain departing for a coaching job in South Carolina. In his stead, Peter Decker will now oversee the New Hampshire-based club’s DA operations.
