Last year, four Founders League programs qualified for the NEPSAC boys soccer playoffs.
With less than three weeks remaining in the 2023 regular season, the Founders is clearly once again one of New England’s top leagues.
Most of the nine teams in the league have played at least 12 matches thus far this fall. So, the sample size is significant. The league’s considerable talent and depth has fully been on display, and the homestretch of the regular season figures to be very compelling.
"I think the league is always quality, and this year, in particular, you have four teams that can fight for it in Avon (Old Farms), Choate, Loomis and Taft," said Choate head coach Charlie Fuentes. "And the real exciting part of it all is that we all play each other in these last few weeks."
