PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Today, we wrap up our standouts series from the ECNL Girls’ Phoenix showcase with a look at the top goalkeepers from the event.
Playing in net against the top talent from across the country is certainly not an easy task.
Still, several keepers at both the U-16 and U-17 age level starred over the three-day event that was held from April 4-6 with sunny skies and pleasantly warm Arizona temps. That includes players from the New England clubs that made the trip out west for the national competition, in front of hundreds of college coaches and scouts.
I was there as well, watching as much of the action as I could. For the past several days, I’ve been unveiling New England standouts from each position.
