COLONIE, N.Y. -- It was a jam-packed day of action on Saturday at the NXT LVL Invitational at Afrim’s Sports Park, just outside of Albany.
On a beautiful late-September day, 12 boys prep games were played over an eight-hour span, with the final whistle heard around 9:30 p.m. New England squads earned a mixed bag of results.
Included in that list: Holderness earned an impressive 4-0 victory over Pathfinder Academy (N.Y.), Bridgton Academy secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Woodstock Academy, St. Paul’s fell to Hill School (Pa.), 3-0, and Kimball Union Academy dropped a 1-0 decision to Northwood School (N.Y.).
There are 16 more games slated for Sunday, with a large contingent of New England programs set to take the fields.
