Breukelen Woodard (Rutland, Vt.) has thrived in different soccer environments over the years.
Locally, she starred for Burr & Burton Academy as the school won its first-ever Division 1 state championship in Vermont. For FC Stars, she was named team MVP as the Massachusetts-based club won an ECNL Northeast Conference title and competed for national titles.
That foundation got her recruited to play at South Carolina, where her four assists (while appearing in all 23 games) as a freshman were second-most at the SEC program. She then transferred out to Penn in search of a more rigorous academic challenge and became an All-Ivy League attacker at her new school.
