When Kevin Anderson was named Southern Connecticut State University men’s soccer coach on March 20, he became the fourth person to hold that title in the program’s illustrious history.
Bob Dikranian, Ray Reid, and the recently retired Tom Lang all previously coached the Owls to great heights during their respective tenures, including six Division 2 national championships between 1987 and 1999.
Anderson played a part in three of them: one as an All-American player for Reid in 1992 and then back-to-back titles in 1998 and 1999 as an assistant coach to Lang.
