Three is a magic number, whether it is "Schoolhouse Rock!" or the Franklin Pierce men’s soccer team chasing its third straight national title during the 2024 fall season, which would be an unprecedented feat, since no Division 2 school has ever done it.
Ravens coach Travis Brent also has a three-pronged recruitment and squad-building methodology of "person, pupil, player." Those three Ps dovetail nicely with the program culture that Brent is building along with the tactical acumen and technical profile of the players at Franklin Pierce.
Of course, success is alluring, too. The Ravens have won three national championships overall and are perennially at or near the top of the table in the Northeast-10 Conference.
