Thirty-two teams remain in the Division 1 women’s NCAA Tournament, and only one of those teams resides in New England.
That would be UConn.
The Huskies (14-4-4) will face No. 3-seeded and No. 14-ranked Stanford (14-4-1) in the NCAA second round on Friday (4 p.m.) at Razorback Field in Fayetteville, Ark. The winner of Friday's match will face the winner of Arkansas/Cal on Sunday in the Round of 16.
