This year’s Division 1 women’s soccer NCAA Tournament field is whittled down to eight teams, with matchups set for just after Thanksgiving.
But there won't be any local program raising the national trophy on Dec. 5 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. Ivy League powerhouses Brown and Harvard were bounced in the second round, while New Hampshire and Quinnipiac were eliminated in the first round.
