We’ve reached the end of October, and only a few local Division 1 women’s teams remain.
Providence, one of the top regional teams all year, is still fighting for a Big East title. UMass Lowell has surprised everyone on its run to the America East championship game. Lastly, Central Connecticut and Boston University are the top seeds in their respective conference tournaments.
Not to be forgotten is Boston College. Despite being knocked out of the ACC tournament, the Eagles entered the weekend nationally ranked and have good odds at receiving an at-large berth in the NCAA tournament.
