What a year it was for local college soccer.
After no New England teams reached the NCAA tournament in 2017, three regional programs went dancing this season. Boston College had a 14-win season, while Boston University and Central Connecticut won the Patriot League and Northeast Conference, respectively.
Elsewhere, Providence College and Northeastern both had strong seasons, while UMass Lowell reached the America East title game with Mira Novak as interim head coach.
With all New England teams having wrapped up the season, it’s time to look back on all that transpired. In all, we've handed out seven year-awards.
