While there are seldom guarantees with freshmen, there’s also an eagerness to see recruiting “gets” possibly become key contributors. Plus, these freshmen have had longer than normal to adjust to college soccer after most local D-I programs didn’t compete during the Fall 2020 semester.
In the below rundown, we’ve highlighted 15 players who should make an early impact. We couldn’t highlight everyone, of course, and there aren’t Ivy League players since Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard and Yale aren’t competing this spring.
