Although the Division 1 men’s soccer season has come to a close, performances from the region’s standouts are still firmly in our memory. From hat-tricks to 14-save masterpieces, there was no shortage of stellar play during 2018.
While many of the region's top players are from overseas, there were also plenty of New Englanderss who left their mark. A slew of rookies also stepped onto the scene and made their presence felt, becoming main contributors to their team.
Offense was another major theme, with several teams boasting double-digit goal-scorers with Major League Soccer aspirations. Other teams were stricken by injury and relied on a defensive approach to muster results.
