The Division 1 men's soccer NCAA tournament gets underway on Thursday, and plenty of New England natives are bound to feature prominently.
In case you missed it: Three teams from the region – New Hampshire, Providence and Vermont – earned places in the 48-school field. The latter got an automatic spot, while the former pair relied on at-large bids.
Spanning those programs and ones beyond the region, here's a closer look at 10 New England natives who are bound to impact the big dance. Perhaps one will raise silverware at the national final on Dec. 12 in Cary, North Carolina?
For the 10-deep field, we limited ourselves to one player per school – hence the honorable mentions at the bottom. And you can click here for the full NCAA tournament schedule.
