Those who follow NEPSAC boys soccer know a player’s origin story falls into one of three buckets: a New England hometown, American players beyond the region and international roots.
This story focuses on the third group, one that's sprouted professional-level players in recent years like Leeds United winger Jack Harrison and Toronto FC forwards Jacob Shaffelburg and Ifunanyachi Achara, a trio of Berkshire products. Many of these players have also featured for Black Rock FC during the club season, while some came through the Right to Dream Academy.
So, we've taken a deeper look at NEPSAC products from overseas that are shining at Division 1 men's programs during the Fall 2021 season. Long-term, these players also could feature in the professional ranks.
