England U-17 winger Alex Mighten is playing for Nottingham Forest’s U23s, and has received offers from other clubs. But Mighten hasn't been approached by the United States, the country of his birth, or Major League Soccer teams.
Mighten, born April 11, 2002 in West Hartford, Conn., has attained a high profile in Europe since his international debut last year. He has also gained exposure playing in the U.S. and could fit the bill for MLS teams hoping to add young talent, especially since he wouldn't occupy a foreign roster slot.
