In prep school circles, the league's older players are household names by now.
Berkshire forward Jacob Shaffelburg, Millbrook forward Ousseni Bouda, Taft midfielder Sammed Bawa and Milton Academy midfielder Jeremy Verley are well known. They're high-level Division 1 commits – some with youth national team experience – who have raised the overall profile of the league.
Beneath them, however, lies the next generation of NEPSAC leaders.
To highlight the up-and-comers, New England Soccer Journal has named its top 50 underclassmen across through the region. The players, listed in alphabetical order below, have left their marks throughout 2018 as freshmen (Class of 2022) and sophomores (Class of 2021).
