In April 2024, when Seth Benjamin was hired to lead Colby women’s soccer, he was confident a turnaround was closer than most realized.
The Mules were coming off a 5-6-4 season and hadn’t made the NESCAC tournament since 2018. But that didn’t deter the head coach, who arrived after steering Southern Maine to back-to-back Little East titles.
"I thought this team had huge potential," said Benjamin. "You could see they were talented, including the returners and the first-year players who were coming in. My focus was to get them to believe as much as I did about how good they were and how well we could perform."
