When the 2020-21 season rolls around, a new youth soccer club will be available in Connecticut: Chelsea Piers Shoreline Soccer Club (CPSSC).
There will be plenty of familiar faces around, though, with CPSSC merging the girls-heavy Chelsea Piers Soccer Club and the boys-heavy Shoreline FC teams under one crest.
The partnership is led by David Flower from Chelsea Piers and Danny Simpson from Shoreline, a pair that also respectively coaches in the NEPSAC at Greenwich Country Day and Brunswick. They used to be adversaries in the FCIAC high school ranks, with Flower previously at Westhill and Simpson previously at Greenwich.
