FOXBORO, Mass. – Bruce Arena has seldom concluded a season without at least one playoff victory – he holds the MLS record with 32 career postseason wins.
But Arena gave the New England Revolution high marks after the team fell, 1-0, to Atlanta United in the first round of the 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs last Saturday. And Arena continued to express optimism as he conducted interviews outside the Revolution locker room on Wednesday.
But Arena also noted: “For me this is new territory, a lot different than anywhere I’ve been and trying to figure it out myself.”
