Hope remains alive for 12 teams across the region, who learned during Monday’s NCAA Tournament selection show that they’ll participate in the 64-team field through automatic qualifiers or at-large bids.
Games begin Nov. 11-12 with the first/second rounds, then sectionals are Nov. 17-19 -- both on campus sites. After Thanksgiving, the semifinals (Nov. 30) and title match (Dec. 2) shift to Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va.
The New England-centric breakdown involves five NESCAC programs and two NEWMAC sides. There’s plenty to dissect from a region that’s always in the mix and boasts several contenders.
