Will the 2023 season produce another Division 3 men’s soccer national champion from New England?
Hope remains alive for 10 teams across the region, who learned during Monday’s NCAA Tournament selection show that they’ll participate in the 64-team field through automatic qualifiers or at-large bids.
Games begin Nov. 10-12 with the first/second rounds, then sectionals are Nov. 17-19 -- both on campus sites. After Thanksgiving, the semifinals (Dec. 1) and title match (Dec. 3) shift to Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va.
The New England-centric breakdown involves four NESCAC programs and two NEWMAC sides. There’s plenty to dissect from a region that’s home to six of the last eight national champions.
