As the prep school, high school and college seasons rage on across New England, the Development Academy space is as busy as ever.
The New England Revolution just kicked off Generation adidas Cup qualifying, while the pecking order is starting to emerge from the DA Cup. Results from the fall portion of this new competition will determine which teams advance to the Winter Cup, which will be held Dec. 4-8 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
The Revs are part of the Northeast/Atlantic Division alongside Baltimore Armour, Bethesda SC, D.C. United, Montreal Impact, New York City FC, New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia Union and Players Development Academy. Meanwhile, New England's four other DA clubs – Beachside, Boston Bolts, Oakwood and Seacoast United – all form the Northeast Division.
