Three familiar faces have received Gatorade Player of the Year awards for their respective states – and each spent this past fall playing prep school soccer.
Ousseni Bouda, the reigning Gatorade National Player of the Year, again took home the honors in New York. This past fall, the Stanford University commit had 61 goals and 12 assists for Millbrook as they won a NEPSAC Class C title, with the Burkina Faso native memorably scoring all five goals in a 5-1 win over Pingree.
Bouda, a Right To Dream student-athlete, is currently playing for Black Rock FC in USL League Two. He leads the league with eight goals.
