The Patriot League has announced its plans for men’s and women’s soccer to return during the Spring 2021 semester, leaving Boston University and Holy Cross poised to compete after spending the fall in waiting mode.
They’re both drawn into the North Division, with the Patriot League divided into two groups to significantly reduce both travel and overnight stays. Other schools in their group are Army West Point, Colgate and Lafayette.
Games would begin Saturday, Feb. 27 and carry through Saturday, April 10. That gives teams a window for at least six regular-season games, as followed by a championship format that’s not yet been announced.
