When Jenna Bike (Trumbull, Conn.) competes for Boston College this fall, nearly 23 months will have passed from her last game in an Eagles’ uniform.
It takes Bike a moment to process that fact, pausing as she collects her thoughts during a Zoom interview in late September.
“It does not feel like it’s been that long. I’m honestly shocked to hear that,” Bike, now a graduate student who’s pursuing nursing, said. “But what I can say is I’ve spent a lot of time trusting the process and doing everything I can to prepare myself, trusting the coaches will help to prepare me. I’m not at all nervous and just so excited to play again.”
