Home to two of New England's highest-profile programs, Big East soccer is nearly back.
UConn and Providence have non-conference games in mid-February, then are slated to begin conference play Feb. 27 against each other.
After seeing their Fall 2020 season canceled back on Aug. 12, both programs have patiently waited for games to return. The COVID-19 pandemic still frames everything, of course, but they're raring to go after being limited to practices thus far. The Big East tournament, and its resulting NCAA tournament automatic qualifier, is slated for mid-April. At-large bids will be on the table, too.
