To mark the occasion, we've spotlighted key performances from locals who compete beyond the region. Either on a personal or collective level, this past weekend saw New Englanders in important roles.
Our Insider story series also spotlighted D-I soccer in New England, with the men's edition focusing on Providence beating Rhode Island 4-0. The women's one features a 0-0 draw between Northeastern and UMass Lowell.
