When Ben Manoogian graduated from Connecticut College in May, he knew he wanted to prolong his playing days for as long as possible.
“I didn’t want to get a real job yet,” Manoogian said tongue-in-cheek.
That plan has so far panned out, as the Peabody, Mass., native was recently named to the NPSL North Atlantic Conference Best XI after competing with Boston City FC. Manoogian, a midfielder and defender, featured in six games before re-aggravating an Achilles tendon injury.
