The Class of 2021 at Northeastern is starting to take shape, with Connor Lawlor (Fairfield, Conn.) verbally committing to the CAA program earlier this week.
Lawlor, 17, is a central midfielder and captain for Beachside’s U-17 team, and is the group’s second player to commit after forward Yasin Choukri (Wilton, Conn.) pledged to Manhattan in mid-March.
The decision was a multi-faceted one, though the soccer side was informed by his eagerness to play for head coach Chris Gbandi.
