Addi Galante’s memories of Championship Sunday in 2021 are vague.
She was an eighth-grade fan, outside the ropes at Deerfield Academy as her older sister, Avery, tried to win a NEPSAC Class A championship with her Worcester Academy teammates.
Details of the game -- a 5-0 loss to powerful Buckingham Browne and Nichols -- didn’t stay with her, only that an outstanding season that produced 17 victories ended one win short of a championship.
Now, Galante -- and two teammates who also had older siblings on that ‘21 team -- are trying to take the quest for a title a step further.
