With a little under three weeks left, the Founders League has evolved into a two-team race.
Choate (10-0-2) and Miss Porter’s (9-2) have set themselves apart, each team unbeaten in league play as they hurtle toward their crucial head-to-head matchup on Nov. 2 in Farmington, Conn.
Loomis Chaffee (7-2-2) and Westminster (4-3-3) have fallen off the pace, and, instead of challenging for the league title, can shift their focus to sprucing up their resumes for the NEPSAC Class A tournament next month. So can Hotchkiss (9-3).
Some takeaways from a week of separation in the Founders League.
