When you’re a young parent, you always get that hackneyed advice to enjoy it because it goes by quickly, but it doesn’t seem that way when you’re dealing with diapers, screaming kids, ignored bedtimes and crazy schedules. You don’t have time to dwell on the moment because there’s so much to do and you’re exhausted all the time, but then you suddenly blink and you’ve got one kid who can vote for the first time and two who can drive. And then it really hits you.
