It was a Sunday night in Minneapolis, Minn., and Wyatt Omsberg (Scarborough, Maine) was just about to go to bed. Then, his phone rang.
It was a call from head coach Adrian Heath with some news: The 6-foot-4 center back had been traded to Chicago Fire FC in exchange for midfielder/defender Raheem Edwards. A call from Chicago head coach Raphael Wicky took place shortly thereafter, and come Monday he was on a plane to the Windy City for a physical, then to Los Angeles to switch his preseason outpost.
