When Sam Henneberg was in England and going through the college recruitment process, he used a recruiting service to help him find the right landing spot in the United States.
Henneberg ultimately played three seasons at Division 2 Catawba College in North Carolina, and then two seasons at the University of New Hampshire, where he started all 21 games as a back in 2021, logged a team-high 1,833 minutes and dished out six assists.
He helped Marc Hubbard’s Wildcats finish the 2021 season at 17-2-2 and advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
