Jeremy Verley left behind Kingston, Jamaica, for Milton Academy with one goal in mind.
It was a conscious, purposeful decision to help along his college soccer goals. As the midfielder’s senior year winds down, it certainly has panned out.
Bound for the University of Virginia, Verley joined Jamaica’s U-20 team at the CONCACAF championship in November after leading the Mustangs to three consecutive NEPSAC Class A tournament appearances. Verley also was named a High School All-American in December by the United Soccer Coaches.
