Things have been moving quickly for Damian “Tico” Rivera.
On Nov. 8, Rivera (Cranston, R.I.) signed a Homegrown contract with the New England Revolution. The same day, Rivera was officially named to the U.S. U-17 national team for the four-team Nike International Friendlies tournament in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
Rivera, who also came through the Bayside FC and Project GOAL systems, took a moment to reflect on the milestone moments for his young career.
