After two years at Hartford Athletic, midfielder/defender Harry Swartz (Needham, Mass.) is set to tackle a new USL Championship challenge in 2021.
Swartz signed with New Mexico United last Friday, meaning the former Boston Bolts and Northeastern University standout is heading out west after a New England-centric soccer upbringing.
Swartz weighed his post-Hartford options and pounced on the opportunity after discussions with head coach/technical director Troy Lesesne, co-winner of the 2020 USL Championship Coach of the Year award. Swartz, 24, needed little convincing about the opportunity.
