Marc Hubbard knows 2017 was a special season, his third, at the University of New Hampshire.
It marked the program’s first-ever trip to the third round of the NCAA Tournament and the first stretch of three consecutive 10-plus win seasons since 1993-1995. Hubbard, a Durham, N.H., native, became the Wildcats’ head coach in 2015 after a seven-year stint at Division 2 power Southern New Hampshire, winning the national title in 2013.
That’s all well and good, Hubbard said, but he knows how difficult it’ll be continuing that rise this fall.
