Two players with New England connections have been called-up to the United States Under-20 Men’s Youth National Team for a domestic training camp in Carson, Calif.
New England Revolution II midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic (Appleton, Wis.) and RCD Espanyol forward Luca Koleosho (Trumbull, Conn.) will be part of the 20-player camp.
The team, which will be head coached by Mikey Varas, will train at Dignity Health Sports Park, beginning Friday and wrapping up on May 1. The squad is continuing preparations for this summer’s Concacaf U-20 Championship, which will serve as qualification to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics.
