The first annual ISL Soccer Showcase was held in Lancaster, Mass. this past Friday, and we were on the ground for the day’s eight games.
In total, 16 teams from one of the top high school leagues in New England duked it out, with about 20 college coaches in attendance. With it being an inaugural event and many college coaches unable to attend due to their own games on Saturday, that’s not a bad turnout.
On the field, I was particularly impressed with some of the top-end talent in this branch of prep soccer. From that, I offer up roughly 30 players who impressed or stood out to some degree. They’re organized in alphabetical order, by school, below.
