The 2020 high school season is, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, drastically different across New England.
Massachusetts teams are playing under guidelines that alter the on-field product. Postseason tournaments in Connecticut, New Hampshire and other states are modified. Rhode Island teams just got underway the other week. Teams are playing in pods, often hurting their strength of schedule.
Despite the widespread changes, we're highlighting programs that are leaving their mark on pitches across the region. Through results and sheer talent, the following 20 have stood out above the rest.
