Given the compressed and frenetic pace of a college soccer season, injuries can rear their ugly head. A small knock can result in two or three missed games, and a serious muscle pull can translate into being lost for conference play.
Brown men’s head coach Pat Laughlin knows those facts all too well, as the hits just kept on coming in 2019. One after another, they piled up and translated into a 4-9-4 record, the Ivy League program’s worst season results-wise since 1990.
