WESTON, Mass. -- The TapIn Showcase was held this past weekend at the Rivers School.
The event consisted of a round-robin between four boys club teams -- Boston Bolts U-19 Composite, NEFC 2006, NE Surf 2005 Navy and IFA New England U-17s. Each team played a match on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Baker Field.
The event was organized for the second year by Rivers’ boys soccer coach Steve Schechter. Most of the players who competed are currently uncommitted to a college program, and numerous college coaches attended, which provided an excellent recruiting opportunity.
