After a three-month hiatus, the spring portion of the 2019-20 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season is nearly here.
Local teams return to action March 1 when the Boston Bolts travel to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Revolution, while other clubs have March 7 circled on their calendars. That's when Seacoast hosts Beachside in Epping, N.H., and Oakwood travels to Newton, Mass., to face the Bolts.
All five local clubs are building towards the annual Summer Showcase and Playoffs, which will be held June 17-25 in Oceanside, Calif. Should they strike gold there, teams could advance to the championship round in July.
