During the 2017-18 school year, Joshua Bolma was a bright-eyed prospect at South Kent from the Rising Stars Academy in Ghana.
Now, the midfielder has made a high-profile verbal commitment in hand, pledging last week to Maryland’s Class of 2021.
The Terrapins, a Big Ten program that’s won four Division 1 national championships, are coached by Sasho Cirovski. Cirovski, who’s leading the push behind a year-round college soccer model, was previously the head coach at Hartford.
