The New England Revolution have signed 18-year-old Revolution II forward Malcolm Fry (Groton, Mass.) to a first-team contract as a Homegrown Player, beginning in 2024 through the 2026 Major League Soccer season, with an additional one-year club option for 2027.
The Revolution Academy graduate becomes the 13th Homegrown Player signing to join the Revolution’s MLS roster, and the eighth player to ascend from the Revolution II roster to the first team.
Including the 2023 postseason, Fry has recorded 37 appearances with Revolution II in MLS NEXT Pro with six goals and three assists since signing his first professional contract with New England’s second team on Oct. 28, 2022. The Massachusetts product made his professional debut on March 27, 2022 and totaled one goal across eight appearances in his debut season with Revolution II. This season, he recorded four goals in the regular season before adding another tally in the conference semifinal round of the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.
